Making celiac life easy

Welcome to GluGood, the guide to making the life of a celiac tourist as simple as it should be.

We are Francesca and Federico, a couple of young dreamers, who like to travel to build new experiences.

I (Francesca) have been gluten intolerant for about 3 years. Even though I am not celiac (a fact proven by numerous tests taken) even the slightest gluten contamination makes me feel very bad! And that is exactly why I am attentive to all aspects of the contamination issue. The importance of paying attention to contamination is one of the pillars I keep in mind when I try to recommend a restaurant on GluGood.

I (Federico) grew up in a celiac family. My sister discovered she was celiac at the age of 17, around 2010, when I was 12 and when celiac disease was not yet a disorder that was well known in society and there was not much availability of gluten-free food. My father discovered he was celiac later and so in my family we have always been used to treating food with and without gluten together, paying attention to the issue of gluten contamination. I am not (yet) celiac, but I know that in the future it is not impossible that I could become one too.

Finally, my presence in the GluGood "staff" is fundamental because someone will also have to taste a gluten free dish to compare it with a normal one, right?

This website was born from our experience as tourists looking for places to eat (well) gluten-free. In the past we have consulted websites and blogs of this type, and we will continue to do so. We, in turn, wanted to be part of this process, making our contribution to the cause, with one goal:

"Make celiac life easy".

Thanks for visiting!
